Russia catches three Ukrainian spies

Russia claims to have arrested three alleged Ukrainian spies. According to the authorities, one of those suspects was planning an attack. The other two arrested are suspected of gathering intelligence on strategic locations.

The tension between neighbouring countries Ukraine and Russia has increased considerably in recent times. The countries accuse each other of a troop build-up. NATO countries are following this with great concern. The United States has warned that Russia will face unprecedented economic sanctions if it invades Ukraine.
