Ramzan Kadyrov seems to be healthy despite multiple contradicting reports

The mystery surrounding the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, persists. Earlier this week, the Ukrainian intelligence service reported that he had been in a “critical condition” for “several days,” but today, a video of a seemingly healthy Kadyrov suddenly appeared on his own Telegram channel.

In the video, Kadyrov can be seen taking a walk in the rain. The caption reads,

“I recommend everyone who cannot distinguish truth from lies to take a walk in the fresh air and clear their thoughts. Rain is incredibly invigorating.”

The video comes as a surprise because just last Friday, the Ukrainian military intelligence service was adamant:

“There is information that the health condition of the war criminal Kadyrov has deteriorated, and he has been in critical condition for several days.”

Rumors had been circulating for several months that the Chechen leader, who serves as a key ally of Putin in the conflict against Ukraine, is suffering from a severe kidney disease.

Some military bloggers have even declared him dead, but the video seems to contradict that. However, it is not known when the footage was recorded.
